Internet radio broadcasting is about the best thing that has happened to any radio fan. We can listen to our favorite stations without location limitations. iHeartRadio happens to be one of the best and most popular internet radio services out there, and we are sure many of you will be happy to know the app is now available for Google TV.
The iHeartRadio app brings the best of internet radio to your TV, but with visual enhancements for the larger screen. The app displays album art and station branding for stimulation. One can select the station of preference, or simply search by location and genre. Or my personal favorite: search for any artist or song, and the app will create a list of stations that play it.
It is definitely convenient to have the app, as Google TV users have only been able to use iHeartRadio from the browser (which is not the best, as we all know). The experience with he app is simply much smoother and aesthetically pleasing.
Users can now stop bringing their other devices to the living room in order to listen to their favorite radio stations. And if screen brightness messes with the mood, do not worry – The app will dim the display, keeping a nice, dark room filled with your favorite tunes.
This one is definitely one we have to at least check out, so make sure to check it out from the Spotlight app on your Google TV.
